Hang your bike on the wall – space-saving and stylish
A bike standing in the hallway is usually in the way. Hang it on the wall and the floor stays clear, the bike is out of the walkway and becomes part of your interior instead of something parked in a corner. That is why our bike wall mounts are not just made for the basement or garage, but above all for your flat, hallway and study: in wood, aluminium and steel, in different shapes and colours. They are made in small batches in Germany – in our workshop in Bönen and with partner companies within 150 km.
Which wall mount suits your bike?
Not every mount fits every bike. Road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes and city bikes differ in frame shape, handlebar width and weight – and that is exactly what decides which mount is right. Our range has something for every bike if you check these three points. The fourth point is your wall; more on that under installation.
Frame shape and top tube
Most of our mounts hold the bike by its top tube: the S-RACK, the T-RACK and the foldable L-RACK. If your top tube slopes slightly, the D-RACK compensates up to 10° so your bike looks level on the wall. With the TWIN STICKS you mount two sticks separately and position them to suit the shape of your frame. If your bike has no classic top tube, such as a step-through frame, the U-RACK holds it on two tyre rests and secures it to the frame with a cord. For wide or aero top tubes, check the dimensions: the frame cut-out is 55 mm wide on the S-RACK and 65 mm on the T-RACK, and the L-RACK takes top tubes up to 60 mm in diameter.
Handlebar width and distance from the wall
When your bike hangs by its top tube, the handlebar needs room between the bike and the wall. That is why the S-RACK and T-RACK come in two sizes: M for handlebars up to 50 cm, L up to 70 cm. The D-RACK takes handlebars up to 52 cm in size M and up to 66 cm in size L, the L-RACK up to 62 cm and the TWIN STICKS up to 58 cm. The U-RACK has no fixed limit, because you set the distance from the wall via the mounting position and the angle. Measure your handlebar at its widest point, including grips and brake levers.
Weight of the bike
The S-RACK, T-RACK, D-RACK, L-RACK and TWIN STICKS are designed for bikes up to 20 kg; on the S-RACK this includes whatever is on the shelf. The U-RACK holds up to 30 kg. All figures apply only with a suitable wall and fixing. For a heavy e-bike, check the details on the product page or choose the X-STAND floor stand, which holds bikes up to 30 kg.
You can compare all models side by side – handlebar width, frame protection, top tube diameter and dimensions – in the PARAX bike mount guide.
Our bike wall mounts at a glance
- S-RACK – metal body with a veneered wooden shelf for accessories and small everyday items, felt pad for the frame. Many colour and wood combinations, optionally expandable with accessory hooks.
- U-RACK – two tyre rests and an adjustable cord, also for bikes without a classic top tube and for tyres up to 100 mm wide. Regular with steel tyre holders, Premium in wood and steel.
- D-RACK – body made of 5-axis CNC-milled, anodised aluminium with a silicone pad, optionally with a wooden front in olive or Kebony.
- L-RACK – foldable: when your bike is out, fold the mount to a depth of 8.5 cm and use the magnetic surface for postcards or pictures.
- TWIN STICKS – two sticks in solid oak, individually positioned on the frame, frame protection made from recycled bike inner tubes.
- T-RACK – powder-coated steel with a felt pad, deliberately minimalist, in two sizes.
Installation: wall, wall plugs and template
How much a mount can hold also depends on your wall. Solid walls made of concrete or masonry are best. For plasterboard you need suitable cavity wall plugs or should fix into the studs; the U-RACK is particularly well suited to plasterboard walls. All six mounts come with fixing material. Still, check that the wall plugs suit your wall material. The S-RACK, D-RACK and L-RACK come with a drilling template with a pendulum that makes alignment easier; the U-RACK and T-RACK include a mounting template. The right height depends on frame size and ceiling height: hold the bike against the wall before you drill.
Protecting your frame and your wall
To keep your frame free of scratches, it rests on felt (S-RACK, T-RACK, L-RACK), silicone (D-RACK) or bike inner tube (TWIN STICKS); on the U-RACK the tyre rests carry the bike. For carbon frames, also follow the frame manufacturer's guidance. The D-STRAP helps against tyre marks on the wall: the leather strap fixes the front wheel to the down tube so the handlebar and front wheel cannot turn. The VELOSOCK bike cover keeps dirt from tyres and drivetrain out of your home.
No drilling – and a place for your gear
Not allowed to drill, or don't want to? The X-STAND is a free-standing floor stand in solid oak and steel, with no holes in the wall, for tyres up to 29 inches and 85 mm wide. For helmet, glasses, gloves and more there is the GEAR-RACK: an oak rail with modules that you position freely and swap without tools.
Frequently asked questions
Can I mount a bike wall mount on plasterboard?
Generally yes, with suitable cavity wall plugs or fixed into the studs. The U-RACK is particularly well suited. The stated load capacity always applies only with a suitable wall and fixing.
Which mount is suitable for an e-bike?
Weight is what matters. The top tube mounts hold up to 20 kg, the U-RACK up to 30 kg. The X-STAND is also designed for bikes up to 30 kg, including suitable e-bikes; a tilt mechanism makes it easier to put the bike in and take it out.
Is fixing material included?
Yes, every wall mount comes with fixing material. The exact screws and wall plugs included are listed in the technical details on each product page.
